This is a simple script snippet intended to be run as a cron job on your server. Basically it looks in a specific category for content that has no expiry date set and then sets it for X number of days in the future. The second part of the script looks for content in the same category that has an expiry date older than today and sets it's state to -1 which means it is archived. This is my first attempt at a tool for Joomla and I hope someone will find it useful. I looked for a tool to handle auto-archiving as a was buildling a news site with lots of daily content that needed to be archived regularly. Hopefully someone can turn this into a mambot with that can handle multiple categories and expiry dates all though a nice plug in interface but it's a little beyond me just yet. To use edit the script - set your database name, username, password and database host name, the number of days until a content item will expire and what category to operate on. Then set a cron job to run the script daily. Multiple instances could be run for different categories but they woudl obviously need to be uniquely named. 

This module allows you to integrate any external codes, for example the type Javascript, Embed, Flash and other easily in Joomla!

USE: Add your code in the syntax in the file "popup.php":
