This component and search bot allow users to store notes with encrypted parts in them. You can use this to store passwords, credit card numbers, etc. The notes are strongly encrypted, and the passphrase to the notes is not stored on the server - which means that even if your Joomla installation is compromised, your notes aren't.

What is http:BL?
Http:BL is a way for website administrators to take advantage of the data generated by Project Honey Pot and keep malicious or suspicious IPs off their websites. The service works by publishing DNS records for IPs we have seen conducting suspicious or malicious behavior online. Website administrators can then use this data in order to restrict access to their web servers for these IPs.

Can anyone use http:BL?
You need to have an account and an access key in order to use http:BL. To be granted an access key you must be an active participant in Project Honey Pot. Qualifying as an active participant is easy: simply install a honey pot, donate an MX record, or refer people to the Project Honey Pot website. We operate on the community-based principle that those people who contribute to a service should be the ones who benefit from it.

The Fly06 Spammer Blocker plugin allows you to filter registration of potential spammers. It uses the API provided by the www.stopforumspam.com website to decide whether the user is a spammer or not and block the registration process accordingly. The plugin supports the default Joomla! as well as Community Builder and JUser registrations. Three criteria can be combined to identify a spammer : ip, username and email according to two decision process : 'all of them' (weak) or 'at least one' (strong). The plugin is easilly configurable in the Joomla! backend and comes with useful additional features such as ip logging and filtering capabilities, superadmin email notification, redirection handling and more... 

This Core Design Login Confirmation plugin for J! 1.5 sends to your e-mail address (after successfully login to administration) a confirmation message. The administration is locked until you confirm this e-mail by click on a link inside.

This is a small system plugin for Joomla! 1.5 that provides the ability to blacklist (block) IP addresses and ranges or whitelist (block all but those notated). Each entry is specified on its own line and ranges are specified using CIDR formatting (e.g. 192.168.1.0/24). Both administrator and site can be blocked or permitted using different lists or modes.
